Maths Week London 2022
Thank you to everyone who came together to celebrate the fourth year of Maths Week London. Our mission is to ignite a love of maths in children and young people across the capital. This year, as always, there was plenty to go around!
In 2022, we hosted more free events and shared more free resources than ever before! Whether you tracked down the Crown Jewels with CENTURY, climbed the Sumdog contest leaderboard, or joined us for nibbles and drinks at our first Teacher Celebration, we hope you had great fun.
Each year, we love checking the #MathsWeekLDN hashtag to see all of the exciting ways you’re celebrating maths, and 2022 provided as much inspiration as ever. This year’s theme was ‘Maths for All’ and there really was something for everyone, from sudoku to maths art and robotics.
Bring on 2023!

How schools celebrated
At Maths Week London, we want learning maths to be as fun and inclusive as possible! To make this happen, we work with charities like the Mayor’s Fund for London to provide funding for schools.
This year, fourteen schools across eight London boroughs received a £250 grant to support a maths-based project or activity – check out our latest blog post to see what they got up to!
